Rutland vs. Arlington 6:30pm & D2 Fair Haven vs. Lamoille 8:15pm.
Barre Auditorium Championships: Sunday 2/28 D4 at 2pm & D2 at 5pm.
D1 Girls Semi's at UVM will go Saturday 2/27 Burr & Burton vs St. Johnsbury at 5pm and Rutland vs. Burlington at 7pm.

The
week of Feb 1-5 found the BHS Boys and Girls Basketball Teams putting
together a "pink" Breast Cancer Awareness week raising money for Hope
Lodge/American Cancer Society. Over $1700 dollars was raised with the
help of both CVU and SBHS, the two teams that BHS competed against that
week at their home court. Thanks for all the support.
Thank You To Rice Memorial Girls Basketball Team!
On January 22nd, 2010 the Rice Memorial Girls' Basketball team hosted the Comets from BFA St Albans. The earthquake in Haiti was fresh in everyone's mind and the need to provide relief for the Haitian people became a goal for many fundraisers. The Rice coaching staff and team approached area businesses for silent auction items and matching grants, the Comets joined the effort by bringing baked goods for a bake sale and with their fans participating in the 50/50 raffle and silent auction. Ultimately their efforts paid off as a donation for over $6500 was made to Pure Water for the World. While the Green Knights did win the game, it is fair to say that the Haitian people were the real winners as they would benefit from the combined efforts of the two teams.
