Be a presence at the VPA Summer Leadership Academy (August 2 & 3) in Killington, Vermont:

The Vermont Principals’ Association supports educational leaders around Vermont, and beyond. The VPA serves over 500 individual members and 270 member schools.

Professional Development and Leadership

  1. Our Summer Leadership Academy draws 250 education leaders for three intensive days of learning and collaborating.
  2. We host Regional Meetings that serve as social and professional support to this demanding field.
  3. We host a fall and a spring "Mental Health Summit" - inviting education leaders into an exploration of best practices.
  4. The VPA surveys our membership annually to determine the most pressing professional development needs – and we respond.
  5. The VPA connects experienced and trained mentors with new Principals, and works to maintain a talented and prepared new Principal pipeline.
  6. We co-produce the Education Directory, arguably the most popular VT resource for educators out there.

Athletics and Student Activities

  1. The VPA coordinates 87 athletic tournaments every year for our member schools.
  2. We celebrate administrators and athletic directors with Principal of the Year Awards AND a Vermont Hall of Fame.
  3. We celebrate student activities by co-hosting the Geo-Bee and Spelling-Bee.
  4. We offer small grants to schools interested in service learning that strengthens culture and school climate.

The Vermont Principals’ Association does not do any of this alone!

Our ability to support our members and their schools relies heavily on individuals, organizations and businesses that care about students and education.

We are grateful for our supporters – sponsors, vendors, advertisers, donors, members and friends!

The VPA offers its heartfelt thanks to all of you!

This section acknowledges our supporters and invites you to join them… and us… as we support leaders and learners.
