Guest: Amy Molina (U-32 A.D.), Bruce Viens (VPA Basketball
Committee), Ray Haas (official), Sandy Johnson (officials
assignor)
- ASC is meeting
to consider the two game suspension given to their JV Girls
Basketball Coach (Sandy Mohlman) on 1/22/04.
- Amy reviews
appeal statement.
- Ray H. explained
his view. The 2nd technical foul was due to the coach getting
off the bench after he had been warned not to.
- Sandy J. explained
the procedure used after an official gets a technical foul
(they are warned not to get off the bench).
- Several questions
and discussion from ASC members.
- Guest are
asked to leave the call (except for Bruce Viens) so that
a discussion can take place.
- Discussion
- Motion by
Shaun Pickett, second by Jack Pennypacker to "grant
the appeal of U-32 and overturn the two game suspension
(there would be a 0 game suspension)".
- Vote - yes
- 0, No - 5 (Dot Blake was not present due to conflict of
interest). Motion denied. Bob will notify U-32 of the decision.
