MINUTES
OF THE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL MEETING, May 25, 2005
Present:
Debi P., Madeline Y., Joe B., Bruce G., Laurie H., Jay N.,
Steve H., Dave C., Rob B., Frank S., Peter E., and Dick T.
Staff: Ray P.
1. Vermont
Education Leadership Alliance (VELA): Ray and Peter
gave an update of the VELA project. Jay N. moved and Dave
C. seconded to allow Ray to transfer $5,000 in the FY06 budget
to support VELA next year.
2. ASC
Opening: Ray reported that we have another ASC opening
to fill Bob Gray’s seat. He informed the previous applicants
that there is another opening. The process that was agreed
upon is that Ray will send out another all-call for candidates.
He will then send the list of candidates to both the Executive
Council and the Activities Standards Committee and ask that
they send input to Peter via email. Peter, Frank P., Ray and
Bob will then select the new member.
3. Executive
Council Opening: Peter presented the candidates.
Ray provided information on the candidates and the balance
factors. Judi Maynard was selected to fill the opening for
Bob Steven’s seat.
